Automation Engineer

Fairless Hills, PA

$100,000 - $120,000

Bonus Eligible (company performance based), 1st Shift, High-Ownership Controls Role

Are you an Automation Engineer who wants full ownership of systems rather than just reacting to breakdowns?

Looking for a role where you design, program, improve, and sustain automation in a GMP manufacturing environment?

This position plays a pivotal role in supporting safe, compliant, and reliable manufacturing operations. You will design, implement, and sustain automation and control systems across production and facility equipment.

If you're looking for an autonomous and collaborative role where you'll really own the systems, this is a rare opportunity not to be missed!

The Role:

  • Design, implement, and support PLC, HMI, and SCADA control systems
  • Lead complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system optimization
  • Support equipment introduction, commissioning, and automation upgrades
  • Ensure automation systems align with GMP and change control expectations

The Person:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Controls, Automation, or similar)
  • 3-5+ years of automation experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Strong PLC programming experience with confident troubleshooting ability
  • Comfortable working independently and owning automation performance
