An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated CAD Technician to join a leading chartered surveying practice working with housing associations, local authorities, education providers, and health & leisure organisations across London and the South. This established chartered surveying practice deliver a variety of projects ranging from £200k refurbishments to multi-million-pound new builds, working largely within the social housing sector while also supporting high-profile clients at locations such as the Royal Albert Hall. With the practice actively expanding into new service areas and investing in the next generation of building surveyors and technical staff, they are now seeking an CAD Technician to join the team.

In this role, you will support the Building Surveying team by producing technical drawings. Key responsibilities include producing technical drawings and documentation using AutoCAD 2D and 3D, interpreting drawings, collaborating with surveyors, engineers and project managers, travelling to site to meet with building surveyors at projects location, among more.

To be considered, you should have experience using AutoCAD, ideally within the construction sector. The role is primarily office-based in Orpington, with occasional site visits across London and the South. After the first six months, candidates will have the opportunity to work hybrid.
