Offenburg or Rotterdam (Hybrid 4 days onsite)

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer, who is looking to build a career with a leading global manufacturing company where you will be responsible for building a Cybersecurity Management system.

This multinational company designs and manufactures technology for the automotive, aerospace, industrial and many other sectors. With worldwide presence, you will be joining a well-established market leader renowned for their quality and innovation.

In this role you will be developing a new Cybersecurity management system, redefining best practices, training systems users and helping to build a brand new department within the company.

The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced in IT security, who has been involved in creating Cybersecurity management systems, either leading teams or projects. You will have excellent knowledge of ISO21434 or EN62443, and supported redefining best practices.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on an extremely varied and challenging position, full training will be provided with additional internal Learning and Development opportunities.

The role:

  • Determine method and conduct periodic assessments across all products and associated systems to identify vulnerability and weaknesses, including vulnerabilities scanning, penetration testing, code reviews, and security architecture reviews.
  • Determine method, develop and maintain threats models for each product, systematically identifying potential threat and attach vectors.
  • Document finding from security assessments in detail, including identify vulnerabilities, their potential impact, and recommended remediation strategies.
  • Generate reports for stakeholders and management to communicate the current security posture and areas for improvement also coordinate and facilitate compliance audits.
  • Develop and maintain cybersecurity procedures and guidelines per the CSMS to support product development, deployment and operation.
  • Support training and awareness, cyber security policies, and their role and responsibilities in maintaining compliance.

The person:

  • +5 years' experience within the field of Cybersecurity, in product development and design.
  • Proven track record of building Cybersecurity management systems, with exposure to Product Cybersecurity concepts and requirements.
  • Experience working in matrix management environment.
  • Comfortable supporting training for internal and external users, and supporting customers enquires.
  • Ideally, you have knowledge of ISO21434 or EN62443.
  • Fluent English.
