Electrical Design Engineer
Bromsgrove (Commutable Distance) - Office based
£40,000 - £50,000 - Negotiable depending on Experience (All Levels Encouraged to apply) + Training + Progression + Pension + Holiday + Company Car + Bonus
Are you an Electrical design Engineer looking for a varied and exciting role with great progression opportunities with they ability to lead a team within the design department?
Do you want to Lead or assist with the design and estimation of industrial electrical projects, with a focus on water industry projects and other utilities?
As they continue to expand, they are seeking an Electrical design engineer providing on the job development to join their Electrical Department ensuring completion of Water, climate, energy and waste projects.
The Intermediate role offers Clear progression path towards Senior Design Engineer and the Senior role offers Career development to Principal Design Engineer.
This company specialises in creating climate control systems in the energy, waste, logistical and pharmaceutical markets and is expanding into new sectors. Using bespoke systems that are created with environmental protection in mind.
The Person:
- HNC/HND (or working towards) in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 1-3 years' experience in utilities, industrial or construction sector
- Water Industry experience
- Proficient with AutoCAD (2D) and Amtech/Trimble ProDesign (or equivalent)
- LV distribution, controls, MCCs, containment, cabling automation and instrumentation
- Full driving license
The Role:
- Responsible for supporting the design and estimation of industrial electrical projects
- Working on designs for the water industry (WIMES) and wider utilities/construction
- Senior and Intermediate roles vary on responsibilities and experience.
- Manage costs and procurement process
