Electrical Installation Trainer / Assessor (Contract)
Northampton
Rate: £45 to £55 per hour | 2 days per week (ideally Wednesday and Thursday)


Are you an experienced Electrical Installation Trainer / Assessor looking for a part time contract role?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and ambitious training provider who pride themselves on delivering high-quality, learner-focused training. The company is expanding and looking to bring in an Electrical Installation Trainer/Assessor to support their growing team of apprentices.

The main focus of the role will be to deliver and assess City & Guilds 5357 electrical installation qualifications to apprentices, ensuring they gain the practical skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the industry.

This role would suit an experienced electrical professional who has previously delivered the City and Guilds 5357 qualification and is confident combining practical teaching with assessment responsibilities.

The Role:
* Delivering practical electrical installation training to Level 3 learners
* Teaching the City and Guilds 5357 qualification
* Assessing learner work and reviewing portfolio evidence
* Supporting learners to achieve and progress
* Ensuring awarding body and internal quality standards are met

The Person:
* Strong electrical installation background
* Previous experience teaching City and Guilds 5357
* Holds an Assessor qualification such as A1 or CAVA
* Holds a recognised teaching qualification
* Confident delivering practical training
* Available to work 2 days per week, ideally Wednesday and Thursday
