Are you an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer looking to step into an exciting role for a rapidly expanding engineering company, offering a technically challenging position where you will work on complex industrial projects, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and develop your career toward long-term progression opportunities?

On offer is a technically stimulating position where you will be reviewing vendor instrumentation designs, developing engineering deliverables, and contributing to the design and auditing of control systems for industrial and mining applications.

This rapidly expanding organisation has been established for around two decades and delivers a wide range of engineering solutions across multiple industries. Due to increased project demand and upcoming large-scale work, they are now looking to bring on an additional I&C Engineer to strengthen their team and support continued growth.

In this role, you will work closely with engineering, process, mechanical, and project management teams. You will review vendor documentation, ensure compliance with industry codes and standards, participate in cross-functional decisions, and contribute to control system design. This is a highly collaborative environment where you will have autonomy, ownership of your work, and the opportunity to make a genuine impact.

This role will suit an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer with experience in Mining, Oil & Gas, Energy, or any Industrial Plant environment. You must be capable of developing P&IDs and PFDs, familiar with commissioning activities, and ideally a P.Eng or working towards your designation.

The Role:

  • Reviewing vendor instrumentation designs and engineering deliverables
  • Developing P&IDs, PFDs, and control system documentation
  • Working closely with process and design teams
  • Significant long-term growth potential (opportunity to progress toward Team Lead)
  • $100,000 - $115,000 + 10% Bonus + Profit Share + Retention Bonus + Health Benefits + Hybrid Working

The Person:

  • Instrumentation & Controls Engineer (5 Years MINIMUM)
  • Experience in Mining, Oil & Gas, Energy, or Industrial Plant environments
  • Strong with I&C design, audits, and industry codes/standards
  • Able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a small engineering team
  • Eng or working towards
  • Technically savvy (AutoCAD, SharePoint, etc.)
