Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with around 2 years of industry experience looking to step into an exciting role with a rapidly expanding company that offers hands-on project exposure, structured mentorship and clear progression as you develop your technical skillset?
On offer is a technically engaging position where you will work closely with a small team of senior electrical designers, gaining direct support and guidance while contributing to a range of real-world engineering projects. You will assist in delivering projects ranging from smaller bespoke packages to larger, more complex engineering solutions, giving you broad exposure early in your career.
This well-established organization has been operating for around two decades and works across a diverse range of technically challenging projects. Due to sustained workload growth and an exciting pipeline of upcoming work, they are now looking to bring in a junior to mid-level Electrical Design Engineer to strengthethe team and support ongoing project delivery.
In this role you will support senior engineers on both individual and team-based electrical design assignments. You'll be involved in producing electrical drawings, layouts and schematics, assisting with calculations and documentation, and ensuring designs align with industry codes and standards, all while developing into a fully autonomous Design Engineer.
This role will therefore suit an Electrical Design Engineer with approximately 2 years of experience in either Mining, Nuclear or Oil & Gas environments. You should have hands-on experience using electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, Revit or similar tools, along with exposure to producing electrical layouts, schematics and technical documentation.
