Lead Driller - Boreholes & Groundwater Systems

Location: Inverurie, Aberdeenshire

Rate: £25 - £26 per hour (Umbrella) Inside IR35 + Van + Tools

Contract: 3-month initial contract with likely extension

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Driller to join a well-established engineering business delivering water borehole and groundwater projects across Scotland.

In this role, you will be responsible for drilling and constructing water boreholes through to completion. You will operate and maintain rotary drilling rigs, ensure all work meets safety and quality standards, and play a key part in delivering sustainable water supply systems across Scotland.

The Role

  • Work on sites across Aberdeenshire and throughout Scotland
  • Operate and maintain rotary drilling rigs, compressors, and associated equipment
  • Drill and construct water boreholes from start to completion

The Person

  • Proven experience operating rotary drilling rigs and compressors
  • Strong communication, organisation, and supervisory skills
  • Willing to travel across Scotland and stay away when required
  • Full UK driving licence
