Maintenance Engineer

£41,000-£47000 +4 on 4 Shift + 12 hour days (7am - 7pm) + Flexible start times + Plenty of Overtime + 3-hour call-out bonus + 22 days holiday + Pension + Training + Company pension

Site based commutable from Wells, Shepton Mallet, Glastonbury, Street, Frome, Radstock, Cheddar, Axbridge, Bruton, and Midsomer Norton.

Are you a hands-on Electrical/Mechanical Engineer with strong fault-finding skills, looking for a stable role within a close-knit, family-run business that genuinely invests in its engineers?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established production business focused on maintaining high output and improving production efficiency. This Company operates in a fast-paced, production-critical environment where engineering support is essential to daily operations.

You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting production machinery, carrying out a mix of electrical and mechanical maintenance to ensure minimal downtime across the site.

This role would suit an adaptable, practical engineer who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working closely with a small engineering team.

The Role:
* Electrical and mechanical maintenance of production machinery
* Reactive fault-finding and planned maintenance
* Supporting production lines to minimise downtime

The Person:
* Electrically qualified engineer (18th Edition essential)
* Experience in manufacturing, production, or processing environments
* Welding experience desirable but not essential
