Mechanical Technician

Excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic person with mechanical Maintenance background, looking to expand on their experience within the mechanical and hydraulic field and progress within an up-and-coming company, to more senior levels.
The company has already established itself as a key player in providing mechanical and hydraulic solutions across a variety of services; including, Rental Equipment, design and manufacturing, refurbishing and service and Marine cranes for international clients. Looking to build upon its reputation by expanding within the renewables market.
In this role you'll be working within the projects and rental divisions to assemble and develop new build equipment as well as mobilise and demobilise a range of mechanical equipment used in renewable energy projects. The role will involve building upon your experience to develop more advanced knowledge within the mechanic and Hydraulic field.
The ideal candidate will already have some mechanical experience, with proficiency in assembling, fitting, operating, and maintaining a wide range of equipment.

The role:
* Assembling hydraulic power units, control panels and reelers
* Maintaining and refurbishing a range of hydraulic and mechanical equipment
* Mobilising and demobilizing mechanical rental equipment for energy projects
* Monday to Thursday 7:30-4:30, Friday 7:00-4:00
The Person:
* Apprentice-level technician from a mechanical background
* Highly motivated and eager to learn within the mechanical and hydraulics field
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong Computer literacy
* Strong work ethic
