MIS Funding & Data Manager

Blackburn - Hybrid.

£37,850 + Training + Pension + 35 days holiday + 37-hour week + Excellent Company Benefits

Within this role, you will begin working to develop and promote strong cross-functional teamwork and partnerships as the data teams are an integral part of the business. You will develop your strong comprehensive knowledge of government contractual obligations and funding rules in relation to funded training, in particular for Apprenticeships and Traineeships. You will be based in the large Blackburn office within a buzzing collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high-level knowledge and use of various education systems. This experience can be gained through the possession of a professional qualification in accordance with the position held, a relevant degree, or management qualification.

The Role:

  • Oversee the collection, management, processing, use, and storage and destruction of learner and employer data for the end-to-end delivery of provision.
  • Lead on the data/management information strategy aligning development plans to UCLan's strategy.
  • Drive a data-compliant culture through developing, embedding, and driving policies, processes, and procedures related to data processing and management.
  • Hybrid-based, Monday to Friday.

The Person:

  • High-level knowledge and use of various MIS including PICS, Maytas, and other further education systems.
  • Exposure to MIS Management, exports, reporting, and contractual financial management activity.
  • Commercial, financial, and legal knowledge regarding funding and data management.
  • The individual will drive improvements in the quality and integrity of data.
  • Commutable to Preston.
