Sales Engineer (Plating / Finishing)
$85,000 - $100,000 + Uncapped Commission (~$25k - $30k) + Medical + Dental + Vision + 401k + Fully Paid Travel

Are you a Sales Engineer with experience in plating, finishing, or surface treatment processes, looking to step into a high-impact role where you can directly influence growth and earnings?
This is an opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer, where you will take ownership of developing new business and expanding existing accounts across a range of industries including aerospace, defense, and medical.
This company has a long-standing reputation within the market and is continuing to grow across multiple divisions. They are looking for a commercially driven individual who can leverage their industry knowledge to identify opportunities and build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
In this role, you will operate with a high level of autonomy, managing your own pipeline from initial outreach through to closing deals and developing long-term partnerships. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met, while building your own presence within the industry.
This position offers excellent earning potential through an uncapped commission structure, alongside the chance to travel and engage directly with key decision-makers across the US.
This role would suit a Sales Engineer or technical sales professional from a plating or finishing background, who is looking for independence, strong earning potential, and the chance to establish themselves as a key contributor within a growing business.
The Role:
- Drive new business development within plating and surface finishing markets
- Manage customer relationships from initial contact through to repeat business
- Handle RFQs, pricing, and negotiations to secure profitable contracts
- Travel across the US to meet clients and support business growth
The Candidate:
- Sales Engineer or B2B Sales professional with experience in plating, finishing, or surface treatment
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to win and grow accounts
- Self-driven, proactive, and confident working independently
- Personable and relationship-focused with a consultative sales approach
