Production Manager (Steel / Welding)

Are you an operations leader with a steel or welding background who is ready to take full ownership of a site, build a team in your image, and play a central role in a company's expansion plans?

On offer is a Production Manager role with genuine influence from day one. You will be responsible for the full operation, managing scheduling across steel and welding, overseeing raw material planning through to purchasing, leading change management, and working directly with senior leadership on the company's growth strategy. You'll be trained by the current site leadership before stepping into full ownership, giving you the platform to get it right and then make it yours.
This role would suit a proven operational leader looking for the autonomy to run a site their way, and the opportunity to grow with a business that is genuinely building towards something.
The Role:
- Full site ownership, set the culture, drive performance, and lead the team day to day
- Oversee all production from order, to procurement and final handover to client
- Manage a team of circa 30 people
The Candidate:
- Background in site management, general management, or production management within steel, welding, or heavy manufacturing
- Proven people leader, able to build a team, manage conflict, and drive performance at site level
